In February, members of the Scott County Central FBLA attended the District 15 Leadership Conference at Southeast Missouri State University. Several members had completed testing prior to the conference date, while others had to compete at the conference. In all, 24 of the 25 SCC FBLA members competed in the District Conference and out of those, eight students advanced to the State Conference. Cameron Bean (5th Place—Cyber Security), Chasity (5th Place—Economics), Zavior (3rd Place—Insurance and Risk Management), Skyler (5th Place—Intro to Business Communication), Nikki (3rd Place—Intro to FBLA), Kyle (3rd Place—Networking Infrastructures, 2nd Place—Computer Applications), Xander (2nd Place—Organizational Leadership), and Hannah (5th Place—Supply Chain Management). Those students will compete in the State Leadership Conference in Springfield, MO in April, along with six other students who are completing state only projects.

While at the District Conference, Chasity B., junior, was elected as Secretary of the District 15 FBLA for the 2023-2024 school year. She will work with the other officers to make the District 15 Leadership Conference a success during the upcoming year.
